Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and condition carefully as they are the basis of your contract with Your Chalet Chef.

To make a booking with us, please contact us by email or via the 'contact and bookings' section of the website. All bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of a 15% deposit, payable in euros via bank transfer, or by an internet money transfer service such as Paypal or Wise. The full balance is then due 4 weeks before the start of your booking, and is payable by balance transfer. Receipts and invoices will be emailed to you upon request. This is not refundable, unless we are the ones cancelling the booking.

If you need to change any details of your booking for any reason, please contact us immediately. While we cannot guarantee we will be able to honour any changes made to the original booking, we will do our best to accommodate them. Please be aware that any changes made to the booking may incur additional costs.

If you need to cancel the booking before the final payment for any reason, please inform us immediately. The 15% booking deposit will not be refunded. If you need to cancel the booking after the final payment is made, 50% of the total amount will be refunded if it is cancelled within two weeks before the start of your booking. If it's cancelled with less than two weeks before the start of your booking, none of it will be refunded, but it may be covered by your travel insurance.

In the unlikely event that we should cancel your booking, we will arrange a full refund of any payments made.

Upon booking with us, please inform the appropriate property manager (where applicable) that you have booked a private catering service, and provide us with any contact information in order for us to gain access to the property during your stay. It is your responsibility to inform us of any dietary requirements and allergies. We strive to cater for all requirements but can only do so if we are aware of them. At Your Chalet Chef we take allergies very seriously, please do not hesitate to contact us for information concerning our allergen matrix.

Occasionally, some ingredients may be unavailable in the resort. Under such circumstances we will make minor alterations to the menus to accommodate. Any major changes will be discussed with the party leader.

It is in our best interest to treat any property with careful diligence. We bring our own equipment to the chalets in order to cook, and will use facilities that are present on site. It is our responsibility to leave the chalet kitchen and dining areas as clean or cleaner than we found them, and empty of all rubbish when we leave. In the unlikely event of any breakages to chalet equipment made by us, we will replace or pay for replacement. Any damages or breakages made by you or a member of your party will be subject to the agreement you have made with the property owner/manager.

We advise you take out a travel insurance policy to cover you against any unforeseen circumstances that are in no relation to us and the booking.
